Pamela L. Spratlen, U.S. Ambassador to the Kyrgyz Republic
Pamela Spratlen attended Campus School as a girl while her father, Thaddeus Spratlen, was a member of Western’s Marketing faculty from 1961 to 1969. Before she was sworn in as U.S. Ambassador to the Kyrgyz Republic on April 15, 2011, Spratlen served as Deputy Chief of Mission at the U.S. Embassy in Astana, Kazakhstan, as Country Director in the Bureau of European Affairs and as Acting Deputy Assistant Secretary for South and Central Asian Affairs.
